Job summary

ASDA Kilmarnock is seeking a Retail Security Officer to protect customers, staff and assets, delivering excellent service in line with Mitie and ASDA values. The role covers night shifts at KA1 and includes training and support.

You will hold an SIA license, have strong communication, and a proactive approach to safety. The position offers full training, licence renewal, and the chance to join a dedicated team within a major retailer.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience preferred.
• SIA License required.
• Trackable 5 year work history.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Energy and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• To be aware of and ensure compliance with policies and UK law as directed.
• Engage with National Operations Centre (NOC) and Mitie management and use provided technology.
• Complete tasks on site as defined within Assignment Instructions (AI's).
• Renew your fixed front-line licence 16 weeks before expiry.
• Report incidents and maintain accurate notebooks for Incident Reports.
• Maintain professional conduct with customers and stay vigilant to threats.
