Job summary

Mitie Group plc. partners with ASDA to provide Retail Security Officer services at the Newmains store in ML2. The role entails protecting people and assets while delivering excellent customer service in line with Mitie and ASDA values.

Full training is provided, including MAYBO, with on-site technology support and funded licence renewals. This is a fixed 22-hour per week role with shifts at the Wishaw area, offering career development within the security team.

Qualifications

• SIA License required.
• Trackable 5 year work history.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Previous security experience preferred.
• Energy and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of and ensure compliance with policies and UK law.
• Engage with National Operations Centre (NOC) and Mitie management and use of all technology provided to report incidents.
• Complete on-site tasks as defined within Assignment Instructions (AI's).
• Renew your front-line licence 16 weeks before expiry.
• Maintain safety and report hazards promptly.
