Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services, in partnership with Waitrose, is hiring a Store Protection Officer at Stroud to safeguard the store, colleagues and assets while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role includes training, SIA licence support and the use of on-site technologies to log incidents. We offer permanent hours and a supportive team environment, with a clear focus on safety and customer care.

Qualifications

• Security experience with valid SIA licence is required.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Energetic, enthusiastic and customer-focused attitude.
• Commitment to training and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Protect Waitrose store, people and assets while delivering security and customer service.
• Utilise on-site technology (body worn camera, incident reporting) to log events.
• Follow Assignment Instructions and comply with UK law and guidance.
• Attend mandatory training and licence renewals as required.
• Coordinate with NOC and Mitie management to maintain service levels.
