Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is hiring a Store Protection Officer for the Waitrose store in Sherborne. You will protect staff, customers and assets, delivering excellent service and using Mitie systems and training to maintain safety and security.

The role includes comprehensive on-site training, mandatory front-line licence renewal, and access to Mitie benefits. You’ll be supported by the NOC while leveraging body-worn cameras and incident reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience.
• SIA Licence.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Energy and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with policies and UK law per AI guidance.
• Engage with National Operations Centre and Mitie management using provided tech.
• Complete on-site tasks as defined in Assignment Instructions.
• Renew front-line licence 16 weeks before expiry.
