Job summary

ASEL, Argenbright Security Europe Limited, is seeking a Retail Security Officer at Catford, Bromley Road. You will deter crime, patrol, respond to incidents, and report clearly to the Client and Local Authorities.

You must hold a valid SIA licence; prior retail security experience is an advantage, with full training provided. Hours are 14 per week with shifts Fri 13:00–21:00 and Sun 11:00–17:00; hourly rate £12.71. Join a team dedicated to safety, customer service and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid SIA licence to apply.
• Retail security experience is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Deter criminal activity through visible deterrence and patrolling the shop floor.
• Respond to incidents and complete incident reports.
• Collaborate with local authorities and management as needed.
• Liaise with management and local authorities when applicable.
• Manage vulnerable persons with care and discretion.
• Conduct colleague and contractor searches as required and report findings.
