Job summary

Argenbright Security Europe Limited (ASEL) is recruiting for a Retail Security Officer in Middlesbrough. The role requires a valid SIA licence, a confident communicator, and the ability to patrol the store and deter criminal activity while providing excellent customer service.

You will work 48 hours per week on a 4 on/4 off shift pattern, earning £14.10 per hour. Full training will be provided, and you must have a 5-year checkable history and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid SIA licence to apply.
• Previous experience in a Retail Security role is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Must provide 5-year checkable work/history and right-to-work documents.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the shop floor and deter criminal activity.
• Respond to incidents and complete incident reports.
• Liaise with management and local authorities when applicable.
• Digitally report incidents and use tablets/phones for daily activity planning.
• Carry out guarding duties in store and manage searches when required in line with policy.
