Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Retail Security Officer to protect customers and staff while delivering exceptional service on the shop floor. You will deter theft, patrol stores, monitor CCTV and liaise with management to maintain a safe shopping environment.

Qualifications

• A valid SIA licence (or willingness to complete the training – we may be able to support you with this)
• A full 5-year checkable employment or education history (essential for vetting)
• A proactive, professional and customer-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor
• Deliver outstanding customer service at all times
• Deter theft, anti-social behaviour and public order offences
• Carry out regular store patrols
• Operate CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss
• Work closely with store management teams
• Support partnerships with Police and local crime networks
• Use Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety for everyone onsite
