Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a security officer to protect client sites in Wales. You will operate in line with Assignment Instructions, manage access, and maintain vigilance to prevent loss or damage.

You will hold a front-line SIA licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) with CCTV PSS SIA Licence and, ideally, SC Clearance. The role emphasises compliance with UK law, incident reporting, and professional conduct on duty.

Qualifications

• Minimum prior security experience on client sites.
• Must hold front-line SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision).
• CCTV PSS SIA Licence is required.
• SC Clearance desirable for access to sensitive sites.

Responsibilities

• Protect customer property, people and assets per Assignment Instructions.
• Meet or exceed KPIs / SLAs and help retain the contract.
• Attend required training for self-development.
• Comply with UK law and regulatory requirements on site.
• Maintain professional conduct and document incidents in the notebook.
• Call emergency services and update the Communications Centre as needed.
