Job summary

Argenbright Security Europe Limited (trading as ASEL) is seeking a Retail Security Officer in Eastbourne. The role requires a valid SIA licence, with training provided for those new to retail security. You will deter crime, report incidents, and work with local authorities as needed.

The position covers Sundays with a 6-hour shift and an hourly rate of £13.00, offering a clear part-time pattern in a security-focused team.

Qualifications

• SIA licence required to apply.
• Previous experience in Retail Security is an advantage but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible deterrence in-store and respond to incidents.
• Complete incident reports and liaise with local authorities.
• Patrol the shop floor, identify vulnerabilities and minimise risk.
• Conduct searches for colleagues and contractors as required in line with policy.
• Digitally report incidents using tablets/phones and maintain detailed reports.
