Job summary

Argenbright Security Europe Limited (ASEL) is seeking a Retail Security Officer to provide a visible deterrence, respond to incidents, and complete detailed incident reports across a Redditch/ Birmingham area store. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week with a Tue–Sun shift pattern and an hourly rate of £13.20.

You must hold a current SIA Guarding or SIA Door Supervisor licence to apply. Prior retail security experience is an advantage, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid SIA licence to apply for this role.
• Retail security experience is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
• Applicants must provide a 5-year checkable work or education history.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the shop floor to deter crime and maintain a visible presence.
• Assess vulnerabilities and work to minimise risk.
• Liaise with management and local authorities when applicable.
• Complete incident reports promptly and clearly for clients and authorities.
• Search colleagues and contractors as required in line with policy.
