Job summary

Mitie is hiring a Retail Security Officer for the Lidl Blackwater store. The role offers 30+ hours per week on a 4 on 4 off pattern with overtime available for holiday/absence cover and a pay rate of £13.45 per hour. Day shifts provide an opportunity to join a dedicated security team ensuring a safe shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Door Supervision or Security Guarding license.
• Five-year checkable employment history or documentary evidence of unemployment/education.
• Retail security experience is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Act as a visual deterrent on the shop floor.
• Safely detain offenders following training.
• Use CCTV and EAS gates to monitor store activity.
• Collaborate with covert security operatives.
• Investigate losses and support enquiries about known offenders.
