Staffline is recruiting for a Retail Security Officer to support a well-known high street fashion retailer. The role requires an SIA licence and strong communication with a focus on loss prevention and safety. You will manage incidents, patrol areas, and assist with searches while maintaining a professional presence on site.

Shifts are Fri, Sat and Sun with additional cover for holidays and sickness. A uniform and ongoing training support are provided by the employer.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Provide a visible uniformed deterrent to security of premises and staff.
• Carry out loss prevention per company policy.
• Deter potential troublemakers on site.
• Observe and report incidents using reporting systems.
• Follow client or manager instructions.
• Keep site knowledge up to date and note local developments.
• Implement fire and safety evacuation procedures.
• Assist with staff and contractor searches if required.
• Maintain a clean and tidy security base.
• Wear full uniform with SIA licence clearly displayed.

This role is working for a well-known high street fashion retailer.

Your Time at Work

As a Retail Security Officer you will be responsible for:

• To provide a visible uniformed deterrent, to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff
• To carry out the Company Policy on loss prevention and ensure the safety of staff and visitors
• To lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site
• To observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems
• To carry out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible
• To ensure site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at local level are identified
• To understand and implement any Fire and Safety evacuation procedures
• To assist, if required by the Client, with staff and contractor searches
• To ensure that the Security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition
• To conduct yourself, at all times, in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the Company, ensuring a full uniform is worn and an SIA licence is clearly displayed
