Job summary

Mitie is hiring a Retail Security Officer at Asda Shrewsbury. Pay £13.10 per hour, with morning, evening and weekend shifts. You will help protect customers and colleagues while maintaining a friendly, helpful presence.

Main duties include patrolling, monitoring CCTV, responding to incidents, and logging activity according to client and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Liaise with Police and crime partnerships as required.
• Wear Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety.

Retail Security Officer- Asda

Pay rate: £13.10 per hour

Hours: Mornings, evenings and weekends

Location: Asda Shrewsbury

Mitie is looking for Retail security officers who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from crime and the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.

Objectives and Responsibilities:

• Work to the Assignment Instructions ensuring that all activity is accurately recorded on the correct documents, in line with both the Client's and the Company's Quality Procedures


• To follow the site-specific Risk Assessments ensuring all activities are completed in a safe manner


• Set and maintain the highest personal and professional standards as an employee of MITIE and adopt a total quality approach to every aspect of your work, colleagues and clients


• To create a safe working environment, free from crime and health and safety related issues for colleagues, contractors and customers


• To add a polite greeting and excellent customer service


• Provide a visible security contact for colleagues, contractors and customers

Main Duties:

Who are we looking for?

• Public Space Surveillance SIA licence is desirable but not essential
