Job summary

BardWood supports a well-known retail store in Leamington Spa, recruiting a Retail Security Officer on a full-time basis. The role offers a pay rate of £13.58 per hour, with 40 hours per week and full flexibility including weekends.

You will patrol the store, manage customer interactions, greet shoppers, monitor entry points, and respond to emergencies using security devices. A valid SIA license and a 5-year, checkable work history are required; experience is advantageous and you must stay

About the role

Title – Retail security officer

Shift Timings – Full time, 40 hours per week, must be fully flexible and able to work weekends

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Handing out baskets
• Greeting customers
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role, would an advantage
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
