Mitie Group is seeking a confident Retail Security Officer to protect people, deter loss and ensure a safe shopping environment on the shop floor. The role offers flexible shifts discussed at interview and the opportunity to build a rewarding career with Mitie.

You will be visible and approachable, delivering excellent customer service while working with store teams and external partners to maintain security and safety on site.

Formación

• SIA licence valid or willing to complete training.
• A full 5-year checkable employment or education history.

Responsabilidades

• Provide a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor.
• Deliver outstanding customer service at all times.
• Deterrence of theft and anti-social behaviour.
• Carry out regular store patrols.
• Operate CCTV to reduce crime and stock loss.
• Work closely with store management teams.
• Support partnerships with Police and local crime networks.
• Utilise Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor
• Delivering outstanding customer service at all times
• Deterring theft, anti-social behaviour and public order offences
• Carrying out regular store patrols
• Operating CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss
• Working closely with store management teams
• Supporting partnerships with Police and local crime networks
• Using Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety for everyone onsite

What You'll Need

• A valid SIA licence (or willingness to complete the training – we may be able to support you with this)
• A full 5-year checkable employment or education history (this is essential for vetting)
• A proactive, professional and customer-focused approach
