Job summary

Mitie is seeking a confident Retail Security Officer to protect people, deter theft and create a safe shopping experience on the shop floor. You will be visible, approachable and professional, with shifts discussed at interview to fit around your life.

Qualifications

• A valid SIA licence (or willingness to complete the training – we may be able to support you with this)

Responsibilities

• Providing a visible, reassuring presence on the shop floor
• Delivering outstanding customer service at all times
• Deterring theft, anti-social behaviour and public order offences
• Carrying out regular store patrols
• Operating CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss
• Working closely with store management teams
• Supporting partnerships with Police and local crime networks
• Using Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety for everyone onsite
