Job summary

BardWood Support Services is seeking a Retail Security Officer for a busy UK retail location. You will patrol store premises, monitor entrances and exits, and respond to incidents to protect staff and customers.

The role requires a valid SIA license, a 5-year checkable history, and the ability to work under pressure. After 12 weeks, a permanent position with benefits follows, with flexible shifts to suit client requirements.

Qualifications

• SIA License is required.

• Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure.

About the role

Title – Retail Security Officer

Pay Rate – 13.10

Location – South Woodham Ferrers

Shift Timings – Must Be Flexible As Per Clients Requirement

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
