Job summary

BardWood Support Services is recruiting for a Retail Security Officer in Andover. You will patrol a busy retail store, monitor access points and quickly respond to disturbances to protect staff and customers.

The role requires an SIA license, a 5-year checkable history and the ability to work under pressure. Flexible shifts and permanent transfer after 12 weeks are provided with a range of benefits and progression opportunities.

• SIA license is required.

• Experience in a similar role is advantageous.

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating disturbances and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Calling for help in emergencies and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Building positive customer relations and handling large crowds.

About the role

Title – Retail Security Officer

Pay Rate – 13.10 PH

Location – Andover

Shift Timings – Must be flexible as per client's requirements.

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
