Job summary

Urban Outfitters in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Store Associate to support the store management team in creating a creative environment that aligns with the VIBE philosophy and our Peers Training Peers program.

You'll engage customers, uphold standards, assist in training peers, participate in meetings, and help with merchandising, stock, and daily tasks while prioritizing customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment is preferred but not essential.
• Awareness of the Urban Outfitters brand and its local market appeal.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive, friendly customer experience through conversation and service.
• Contribute to the VIBE by focusing on customers during peak hours.
• Support store standards reflecting company mystery shop guidelines.
• Be a positive role model and assist peers.
• Support training and development of peers.
• Participate in daily and department meetings.
• Assist with tills, shipment tasks, and fitting room guidelines.
• Help with weekly tasks like markdowns, transfers and RTVs.
• Follow loss prevention guidelines and health and safety regulations.
• Support merchandising and display projects.
