Overview

The Retail Sales Associate (RSA) is the ultimate guide through the guests’ shopping experience. Hard Rock merchandise is a unique part of our business, requiring a special person to create the experience. As an RSA, you will serve as a tour guide, communicator, entertainer, memorabilia curator, and musician at heart.

Responsibilities

1. Greeting guests
2. Answering questions accurately and politely
3. Answering the phone
4. Making proficient sales transactions using a point-of-sale system
5. Handling cash and other forms of payment
6. Maintaining proper cash drawer balances
7. Directing guests to areas/restrooms
8. Demonstrating product knowledge
9. Engaging guests in 1-on-1 conversations to determine needs and informing them of product features & benefits
10. Using suggestive selling techniques (related items, higher-quality items, transitional phrases)
11. Maintaining a clean and organized store
12. Managing product stock levels through retail pulls and inventories
13. Displaying products according to HRC’s visual standards
14. Performing opening, closing, and side duties (cleaning, polishing, sweeping, folding)
15. Ensuring guest satisfaction and creating memorable experiences
16. Entertaining guests to create "Raving Fans"

Additional Details

Job requirements include:

1. Must be at least 19 years old
2. Ability to perform duties involving bending and reaching
3. Lifting up to 30 pounds
4. Standing for up to 8+ hours
5. Maintaining a well-groomed appearance and adhering to uniform guidelines
6. Following safety and sanitation standards
7. Recycling products where possible
8. Remaining calm in a fast-paced environment
