Job summary

IKEA Bristol is seeking Sales Assistants to join our busy store team. You will welcome customers, offer product advice, and help create a welcoming shopping experience while maintaining store standards.

This part-time sales role offers a competitive hourly rate of £13.45, with shifts around 8:00–21:30, including weekends. Interviews start 2 November; start date is 29th November 2026. We welcome applicants who thrive in a busy, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-moving, customer-facing environment.
• Confident using computers and IKEA systems.
• Customer-first mindset, valuing the customer.
• Ability to prioritise and manage own work with attention to detail.
• Able to safely lift and replenish stock.

Responsibilities

• Provide an inspirational shopping experience by identifying customer needs and advising on best home solutions.
• Curious to learn the stories behind products and their design.
• Keep your area clean, stocked, priced, well presented and easy to shop.
• Perform manual handling and heavy lifting of stock safely.
