Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Retail Operations Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day running of a Randburg store. You will supervise staff, manage stock flow, and ensure a seamless shopping experience while upholding store standards and safety.

The ideal candidate brings supervisory retail experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a solid understanding of inventory control and POS systems.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a retail operations environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory control and merchandising.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to work weekends in Randburg.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide retail staff in daily tasks, ensuring adherence to procedures.
• Oversee inventory management processes, including receiving, stocking, and cycle counts.
• Ensure the store environment is maintained to high standards of cleanliness, safety, and visual presentation.
• Assist in managing store opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor sales performance and identify areas for operational improvement.
• Handle customer escalations and ensure timely resolution of issues.
