Job summary

The Pokémon Company International is opening a new Pokémon Store in London and seeks a Project Manager, Retail Operations to lead the operational mobilisation for a major retail launch. You will translate high-level requirements into detailed workstreams, manage suppliers, design policies and processes, and ensure readiness for a successful opening.

Five to seven years of relevant experience, a related bachelor’s degree, and strong supplier/stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ to 7 years of relevant professional experience or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading complex operational initiatives, business readiness activities, programme delivery or project management.
• Strong supplier management experience including RFPs, contracting coordination, and supplier mobilisation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across functions and geographies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver the operational mobilisation plan with detailed workstreams and milestones.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
• Proactively manage timelines, dependencies, risks and issues.
• Procure, contract, onboard and manage external suppliers (EPOS, Facilities, Security).
• Establish project governance routines and drive accountability across workstreams.
• Lead transition from delivery to business-as-usual operations.
• Collaborate on workstreams including Operational Design, IT Systems, Policies & Procedures, and Logistics.
• Coordinate with other Project Managers to manage dependencies and ownership.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across levels and international offices.
• Understand wider programme to inform operational planning and delivery.
