Job summary

Sodexo Ltd seeks a Retail and Leisure Manager to lead the retail, café and front‑of‑house services at RAF Brize Norton. You’ll own a varied operation across a large military site, delivering welcoming spaces and high service standards for personnel and visitors.

You’ll develop and lead a team, manage budgets and stock, drive sales through promotions and improvements, and uphold safety, hygiene and customer experience at every touchpoint.

• Building strong relationships with customers, clients and the wider site team.
• Resolving day-to-day challenges and identifying practical ways to improve services.

Sodexo is looking for a Retail and Leisure Manager to lead retail, café and front-of-house services at RAF Brize Norton.

What you’ll do

You’ll oversee daily operations across the Junior Ranks Mess, café outlets and leisure services, bringing energy, organisation and clear direction to your team.

Your responsibilities will include:

What you’ll bring

• Experience leading and developing a team.
• A safety-first approach to management, with knowledge of health and safety and food safety.
• Experience of budget control and financial processes, including cash and stock management.
• A strong customer service focus and confident communication skills.
• The ability to organise workloads, solve problems and take initiative.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Experience managing client relationships or working within a military environment would be advantageous.

Working arrangements

You’ll work 40 hours per week, usually Monday to Friday, with flexibility to meet business needs, including occasional evenings or weekends.

As the role is based on a military site, the successful candidate must undergo and successfully complete the required security vetting.
