Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Retail Manager to oversee two shops at RAF Brize Norton. You will lead daily operations, drive sales, and deliver high standards of customer service across a large military site.

You'll manage a small team, recruit and train staff, control budgets, and ensure health and safety compliance while building strong relationships with personnel and site colleagues. This is a hands-on leadership role with scope for impact.

• Driving sales through promotions, marketing initiatives and improvements to the retail offer.
• Managing budgets and financial processes, including stock management, cash controls, labour costs and waste reduction.
• Monitoring stock levels, ensuring products are available and identifying opportunities to improve sales.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety, security and compliance across both shops.
• Building strong relationships with customers, clients and the wider site team.
• Resolving day-to-day challenges and identifying practical ways to improve services and the customer experience.

What you’ll do

Working arrangements

You’ll work 40 hours per week, usually Monday to Friday, with flexibility to meet business needs, including occasional evenings or weekends.

As the role is based on a military site, the successful candidate must undergo and successfully complete the required security vetting.
