Job summary

Sodexo Ltd seeks a Retail and Leisure Manager to lead the retail, café and front‑of‑house services at RAF Brize Norton. You’ll own a varied operation across a large military site, delivering welcoming spaces and high service standards for personnel and visitors.

You’ll develop and lead a team, manage budgets and stock, drive sales through promotions and improvements, and uphold safety, hygiene and customer experience at every touchpoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop colleagues, managing recruitment, induction, training and performance.
• Deliver welcoming, efficient service and maintaining high standards across your areas.
• Drive sales through promotions, marketing initiatives and improvements to the customer offer.
• Managing budgets and financial processes, including stock management, cash controls, labour costs and waste reduction.
• Working with the catering team to plan and deliver functions, including menus and costings.
• Championing a safety-first approach, maintaining health and safety, food safety and hygiene standards.
• Building strong relationships with customers, clients and the wider site team.
• Resolving day-to-day challenges and identifying practical ways to improve services.
