Job summary

Aldi offers a 12-month Retail Management Placement across multiple stores in the UK. You will work closely with Store Operations teams to support the Store Manager, drive performance, and deliver exceptional customer service.

This role provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail environment and emphasis on practical leadership development. The programme is designed to prepare you for a future management career, with the potential to return after graduation and progress into a leadership

Qualifications

• Working towards a 2:1 undergraduate degree in any discipline.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Strong commitment to customer service and achieving business results.
• Agile and proactive leader with a focus on delivering outcomes and embracing change.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with duties, complaints, schedules and pricing.
• Ensure store safety, product compliance, and report repairs and authority visits.
• Drive performance by implementing strategy, meeting KPIs, and delivering excellent customer service.
• Manage stock quality, inventory accuracy, and surplus redistribution.
• Oversee till operations, cash handling, employee training, and compliance with regulations.
