Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep Inverness stores safe, functional, and welcoming for customers and colleagues. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across building systems and equipment to ensure smooth operations.

This hands-on role requires a proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety and quality. You’ll use a tablet to view schedules, update colleagues, and coordinate with external contractors when repairs are needed.

Qualifications

• ONC or equivalent qualification is advantageous.
• Full driving license is required.
• Health & Safety awareness is essential.
• Proficient in communication and collaboration to work with teams.
• Knowledge of Office 365 and common IT tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Tesco sites are safe and functioning for customers and colleagues.
• Follow planned work schedules to achieve first-time fixes and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members and share best practices.
• Perform general day-to-day store and property maintenance.
• Use mobile devices to drive updates and track work progress.
