Job summary

Tesco UK is seeking a Maintenance Technician across our stores to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of systems and equipment, ensuring stores remain safe, functional and welcoming for customers and colleagues. You’ll work as part of a skilled team, interacting with external contractors and supporting a culture of quality and reliability.

This hands-on role requires a proactive mindset, good problem-solving and strong safety awareness, with training and career development

Qualifications

• Health and safety awareness applicable to maintenance tasks.
• Clear communication and collaboration with team and contractors.
• Comfort with using tablets/devices to view schedules and emails.
• Current full driving license is required.
• Completed technical training/upskilling modules relevant to abilities.

Responsibilities

• Interact with external contractors to coordinate repairs.
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure quality service.
• Maintain high energy and efficiency while juggling tasks.
• Support management to keep stores operating smoothly.
• Minimise disruption to customers during repairs.
