Job summary

Tesco UK is seeking a Maintenance Technician across Milton Keynes and surrounding areas to keep stores safe, functional and welcoming for customers and colleagues. You'll work in a skilled team and carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of systems, helping to keep our operations running smoothly.

This hands-on role requires a proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety, compliance and quality.

Qualifications

• ONC or equivalent.
• Full driving license.
• Health & Safety awareness.
• Communication & Collaboration.
• Office 365 knowledge.
• Completed all technical training upskilling modules relevant to abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all Tesco sites are a safe and functioning environment for customers and colleagues.
• Following the planned work schedule to achieve first time fix, improving efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Working closely with team members, sharing best practice and knowledge.
• General day to day store and property maintenance.
• Using mobile devices; phone and tablet, to drive the best approach in work completion and updates.
• Representing the Tesco brand by demonstrating our core values (serving our customers, communities and planet a little better every day), maintaining a positive attitude & taking pride in wearing the Tesco uniform.
• Attending local and national meetings, providing valuable input and feedback.
• Supporting a diverse and inclusive culture.
