Job summary

Tesco in Wrexham is hiring a Maintenance Technician to keep stores safe, functional and welcoming. You’ll carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of systems and equipment, using a tablet to view daily work schedules and manage emails, and you’ll interact with external contractors when needed.

The role demands hands-on problem solving, strong safety awareness, and collaboration with the local team.

Qualifications

• ONC or equivalent qualification required.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all Tesco sites are a safe and functioning environment for customers and colleagues.
• Following the planned work schedule to achieve first time fix, improving efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Working closely with team members, sharing best practice and knowledge.
• General day to day store and property maintenance.
• Using mobile devices; phone and tablet, to drive the best approach in work completion and updates.
• Representing the Tesco brand by demonstrating core values and wearing Tesco uniform.
• Attending local and national meetings, providing input and feedback.
• Supporting a diverse and inclusive culture.
