Job summary

Tesco Stores Limited is seeking a Maintenance Technician to cover Dudley, West Brom and Lichfield and surrounding areas. You’ll work with colleagues, contractors and store teams to maintain high standards across our stores and properties.

You’ll balance planned maintenance with reactive repairs, ensuring safety and operational readiness, while collaborating across teams and using mobile tech to update schedules.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Digital confidence including Office 365 and mobile tech.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety principles.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and technical development.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with external contractors and coordinate repair and maintenance activities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent service and share knowledge.
• Manage a varied workload balancing planned maintenance with reactive repairs.
• Support store leadership to keep equipment and facilities safe and operational.
• Deliver maintenance activities with minimal disruption to customers and colleagues.
• Follow planned work schedules to achieve efficient repairs.
