Job summary

Tesco Maintenance Technician role across Dudley, West Brom and Lichfield areas involves creating safe, welcoming stores through planned and reactive maintenance. You’ll work in a supportive team, using problem-solving skills and practical expertise to improve our estate.

Your daily tasks include coordinating with contractors, balancing workload, and ensuring equipment and facilities stay safe and operational while minimising disruption to customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with external contractors and coordinate repair and maintenance activities.
• Work with colleagues to deliver excellent service and share knowledge and best practice.
• Manage a varied workload, balancing planned maintenance with reactive repairs.
• Support store leadership by ensuring equipment and facilities remain safe and operational.
• Carry out general property and store maintenance activities.
• Use mobile technology to manage work schedules and record updates.
