Job summary

Everpool Recruitment is assisting a leading retailer in Carlisle to recruit an IT Business Systems Coordinator. You will play a key role in delivering and supporting business-critical systems across finance, operations and IT projects.

You'll plan, design, develop and implement business systems, gather requirements from stakeholders, and coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure value-for-money solutions and smooth implementations.

Qualifications

• Retail business processes knowledge is advantageous.
• Structured, analytical thinker with strong problem-solving approach.
• Able to manage a varied workload and take ownership of projects.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders, system owners, and end users to gather and define business, financial, and operational requirements.
• Analyse existing systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Produce clear documentation of business processes, data flows, decision points, and system integrations.
• Assess potential business solutions, considering commercial viability and benefits.
• Liaise with third-party suppliers to negotiate costs and deliver value-for-money solutions.
• Coordinate the implementation of new business systems with internal teams and external partners.
• Provide ongoing user training, troubleshooting, and system guidance.
• Produce detailed functional specifications for third-party developers and suppliers.
