Job summary

Allwyn UK is offering an apprenticeship opportunity as a Retail Sales Apprentice, focusing on supporting the National Lottery network. You will manage your own territory, build retailer relationships and drive sales for Good Causes, while gaining a Level 4 Sales Executive Apprenticeship.

You will learn how the Retail Sales Team operates as the face of The National Lottery, with coaching, structured learning, and field-based responsibilities across your territory.

Qualifications

• Curious and eager to learn with a can-do attitude.
• Confident at engaging with people and building relationships.
• Commercially aware with interest in sales or retail.
• Comfortable analysing numbers and spotting trends.
• Able to communicate training messages clearly.
• IT literate and able to use performance tools.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence with travel flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver key messages and marketing updates to the retail network.
• Review activity against measures and collaborate across regions.
• Provide retail insight and contribute ideas in team meetings.
• Use data to identify growth opportunities in your territory.
• Plan and manage store visits across your territory.
• Build strong relationships with retailers to drive in-store execution.
• Proactively raise in-store standards and support training and compliance.
• Understand territory performance and communicate results to your manager.
• Promote responsible play and retailer player protection.
• Develop in-territory knowledge via apprenticeship training and progress reviews.
