Job summary

Mitie is looking for Elite security officers who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst providing a highly visible presence that reduces the impact of anti-social behaviour upon colleagues and customers.

You must hold a current SIA licence and have a full 5-year checkable history. This role offers contracted hours and paid breaks, with a pay rate of £14.98 per hour and diverse shifts to discuss at interview.

Responsibilities

• Deliver industry leading customer service.
• Create a safe environment, free from crime and the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.
• Manage anti-social behaviour and build relationships with those that cause it.
• Engage with members of the public by providing a welcoming presence.
• Support the public and visitors with queries in a friendly and polite manner.
• Support the Police and crime partnerships to aid crime reduction in-store.
• Wear Body Worn CCTV to support crime reduction and safety.

Job Overview:

Vetting

It is vital that you have a full 5-year checkable employment/education history, failure to do so could mean your offer will be withdrawn or your employment stopped.

Main duties:

• To deliver industry leading customer service
• To create a safe environment, free from crime and the fear of crime for customer and colleagues
• To manage anti-social behaviour and build relationships with those that cause this
• Engage with members of the public by providing a welcoming presence
• Support the public and visitors with their queries in a friendly and polite manner by demonstrating excellent customer service
• Support the Police and crime partnerships where required to aid with the reduction of crime in store
• To wear Body Worn CCTV to support in the reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety
