Job summary

Iceland Foods Ltd. in Scunthorpe is seeking a Duty Manager/Retail Assistant to join during seasonal peak periods. The role carries a £11.60–£12.71 per hour base rate with an additional £2.00 per hour when running the store, for contracted hours of 16 per week.

The role focuses on delivering strong customer service, managing shifts, and upholding store standards, with a view to supporting growth and teamwork throughout the season.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail management or supervisory role is preferred.
• Strong communication with colleagues to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
• Ability to plan and organise shifts using every team member.
• Provide balanced feedback to improve performance across the team.
• Set the pace on shift by being hands-on to deliver a great store.
