Job summary

Halfords in Worcester is seeking a part-time supervisor to help lead a department and team on the sales floor. You’ll supervise colleagues, coach them to deliver excellent customer service, and drive sales targets to achieve market-leading standards.

You’ll support the store management team with service delivery, uphold high service standards, and take key holder responsibilities while following security and stock procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience of supervising or leading a small team.
• Experience delivering great customer service in retail or services.
• Experience delivering on-the-job training / coaching to others.
• Experience of working to tight deadlines.
• Track record of achieving exceptional results against sales targets.
• Ideally some knowledge in motoring or cycling; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Role is gateway to management; responsible for day-to-day running of a department, supervising and coaching others to deliver market leading standards.
• Support the store management team to enable the best service delivery to customers.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and enthusiasm for products and services.
• Some key holder responsibility and follow all in-store security and stock loss procedures.
• Invest in training and development to progress careers within Retail or Group.
