Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Retail Team Lead to supervise a department and coach colleagues to deliver market-leading standards for customers. You’ll work with the store management team to ensure top service delivery and may take on key holder duties while supporting security and loss-prevention procedures.

We invest heavily in training to help you develop your career, with opportunities to progress in Retail or within the Group as a whole.

Qualifications

• Experience of supervising or leading a small team.
• Experience of delivering great customer service ideally in a retail sales or services environment.
• Experience of delivering on the job training / coaching to others.
• Experience of working to tight deadlines.
• A track record of achieving exceptional results against sales targets.
• Ideally, some knowledge in motoring or cycling; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of a department.
• Supervise and coach team members to meet standards.
• Support store management to deliver excellent service.
• Take on key holder responsibilities and ensure security procedures.
• Contribute to training and development to progress into management.
