Job summary

BP Retail in Coventry is hiring a temporary customer service assistant for an initial six-week contract. You will be part of a fast-paced retail team, delivering friendly service to customers and supporting store operations.

No prior retail experience is required as full training is provided online and on the job. You will learn through bp's processes, help with offers and loyalty schemes, and ensure safety and cleanliness in store and cafe area.

What you will be responsible for

• Making sure that the safety of yourself, your colleagues and our customers, in line with bp policies and procedures, is your top priority
• Serving customers efficiently, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively
• Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, in line with bp beliefs
• Preparing and serving food and drink items from our Wild Bean Café
• Taking in deliveries, replenishing stock and completing stock management tasks
• Being proactive in supporting bp’s offers, promotions and loyalty scheme
• Carrying out cleaning duties in all aspects of the store, facilities and forecourt

This is an initial 6 week temporary contract. As a valued member of the bp retail team, you will receive full training and support to help you succeed in the role from day one.
