Job summary

bp retail is hiring a Customer Service Assistant to join our fast-paced store environment. You will welcome customers, serve food and drink items from our Wild Bean Café, and help with stock and deliveries. Training is provided to develop the skills needed for the role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of yourself, colleagues, and customers according to bp policies.
• Serve customers promptly and accurately to meet needs.
• Foster a positive, inclusive work environment aligned with bp beliefs.
• Prepare and serve food and drinks from the Wild Bean Café.
• Receive deliveries and assist with stock replenishment.
• Support bp offers, promotions and loyalty schemes.
• Carry out cleaning duties in-store, facilities, and forecourt.

What we are looking for

Individuals with a passion for customer service and who are energised by working together as a collaborative team within a fast-paced retail environment. We don't expect all who apply to have previous retail experience, as you will be provided with online and on the job training to support you to develop the skills and capabilities you will need to perform your role at bp.

What you will be responsible for

• Making sure that safety of yourself, your colleagues, and the customer, in line with bp policies and procedures, is your top priority
• Serving customers efficiently, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively
• Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, in line with bp beliefs
• Preparing and serving food and drink items from our Wild Bean Café
• Taking in deliveries, replenishing stock and stock management tasks
• Being proactive with supporting bp's offers, promotions and bp loyalty scheme
• Carrying out cleaning duties in all aspects of the store, facilities, and forecourt
