Job summary

BP Retail is seeking a customer service assistant to join our fast-paced store environment. You will work closely with the team to serve customers, prepare Wild Bean Café items, and manage stock while upholding bp policies.

Applicants aged 16+ are welcome. The role offers flexible hours, training, and opportunities for progression within a trusted national retail brand.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to learn and participate in training.

What we are looking for

Individuals with a passion for customer service and who are energised by working together as a collaborative team within a fast-paced retail environment. We don't expect all who apply to have previous retail experience, as you will be provided with online and on the job training to support you to develop the skills and capabilities you will need to perform your role at bp.

What you will be responsible for

• Making sure that safety of yourself, your colleagues, and the customer, in line with bp policies and procedures, is your top priority
• Serving customers efficiently, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively
• Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, in line with bp beliefs
• Preparing and serving food and drink items from our Wild Bean Café
• Taking in deliveries, replenishing stock and stock management tasks
• Being proactive with supporting bp's offers, promotions and bp loyalty scheme
• Carrying out cleaning duties in all aspects of the store, facilities, and forecourt
