Job summary

BP Retail is seeking a Customer Service Assistant in the United Kingdom. You will join a fast-paced retail team at bp, delivering friendly service, handling customer needs and supporting daily operations.

Training is provided online and on the job, with flexible hours and opportunities for progression. You will help with Wild Bean Café items, stock replenishment, and ensuring store safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• No prior retail experience required; online and on-the-job training provided.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills.

Responsibilities

• Serving customers efficiently and meeting their needs promptly.
• Ensuring safety of yourself, colleagues and customers in line with bp policies.
• Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Preparing and serving food and drinks from the Wild Bean Café.
• Taking deliveries, replenishing stock and stock management tasks.
• Supporting bp offers, promotions and the loyalty scheme.
• Carrying out cleaning duties in all store areas.

What we are looking for

Individuals with a passion for customer service and who are energised by working together as a collaborative team within a fast-paced retail environment. We don't expect all who apply to have previous retail experience, as you will be provided with online and on the job training to support you to develop the skills and capabilities you will need to perform your role at bp.

What you will be responsible for

• Making sure that safety of yourself, your colleagues, and the customer, in line with bp policies and procedures, is your top priority
• Serving customers efficiently, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively
• Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, in line with bp beliefs
• Preparing and serving food and drink items from our Wild Bean Café
• Taking in deliveries, replenishing stock and stock management tasks
• Being proactive with supporting bp's offers, promotions and bp loyalty scheme
• Carrying out cleaning duties in all aspects of the store, facilities, and forecourt
