Job summary

BP Retail is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join a fast-paced retail team. You will help customers, support promotions, and contribute to a welcoming store atmosphere.

No prior retail experience is required as full training is provided, with opportunities for career progression and flexible hours. The role includes serving Wild Bean Café items, stock replenishment, and maintaining store cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of yourself, colleagues and customers following bp policies.
• Serve customers efficiently and meet their needs promptly.
• Foster a positive, inclusive work environment aligned with bp beliefs.
• Prepare and serve items from our Wild Bean Café.
• Receive deliveries, stock replenishment and basic stock management.
• Support bp offers, promotions and loyalty schemes.
• Carry out cleaning duties across store, facilities and forecourt.

What we are looking for

Individuals with a passion for customer service and who are energised by working together as a collaborative team within a fast-paced retail environment. We don't expect all who apply to have previous retail experience, as you will be provided with online and on the job training to support you to develop the skills and capabilities you will need to perform your role at bp.

What you will be responsible for

• Making sure that safety of yourself, your colleagues, and the customer, in line with bp policies and procedures, is your top priority
• Serving customers efficiently, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively
• Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, in line with bp beliefs
• Preparing and serving food and drink items from our Wild Bean Café
• Taking in deliveries, replenishing stock and stock management tasks
• Being proactive with supporting bp's offers, promotions and bp loyalty scheme
• Carrying out cleaning duties in all aspects of the store, facilities, and forecourt
