Job summary

BP Retail is hiring a Customer Service Assistant in a fast-paced retail environment. You’ll be the frontline, delivering friendly service and supporting customers with their needs. Full training is provided to help you develop the skills required to excel in a busy store setting.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service and working in a team.
• Willingness to learn with online and on-the-job training.
• No prior retail experience necessary, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer safety and follow bp policies.

• Prepare and serve items from Wild Bean Café.
• Receive deliveries, replenish stock, and manage stock.

What we are looking for

Individuals with a passion for customer service and who are energised by working together as a collaborative team within a fast-paced retail environment. We don’t expect all who apply to have previous retail experience, as you will be provided with online and on the job training to support you to develop the skills and capabilities you will need to perform your role at bp.

What you will be responsible for

• Making sure that safety of yourself, your colleagues, and the customer, in line with bp policies and procedures, is your top priority
• Serving customers efficiently, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively
• Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, in line with bp beliefs
• Preparing and serving food and drink items from our Wild Bean Café
• Taking in deliveries, replenishing stock and stock management tasks
• Being proactive with supporting bp's offers, promotions and bp loyalty scheme
• Carrying out cleaning duties in all aspects of the store, facilities, and forecourt
