Job summary

bp retail is seeking a Customer service assistant to join our store team. You will be helping customers, handling transactions and maintaining a welcoming environment in a busy retail setting.

You will follow bp policies for safety, serve items from the Wild Bean Café, and assist with stock, deliveries and promotional activities while contributing to a clean, friendly store atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Safety of yourself, colleagues, and customers is the top priority according to bp policies and procedures.
• Serve customers efficiently, ensuring needs are met promptly and effectively.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment in line with bp beliefs.
• Prepare and serve food and drinks from the Wild Bean Café.
• Take deliveries, replenish stock and manage stock control tasks.
• Support bp offers, promotions and the bp loyalty scheme proactively.
• Carry out cleaning duties across store, facilities and forecourt.

What we are looking for

Individuals with a passion for customer service and who are energised by working together as a collaborative team within a fast-paced retail environment. We don’t expect all who apply to have previous retail experience, as you will be provided with online and on the job training to support you to develop the skills and capabilities you will need to perform your role at bp.

What you will be responsible for
