Job summary

BP Retail is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our fast-paced store team. You will greet customers, help with inquiries, process transactions, and support food and drink service at Wild Bean Café. Training will be provided on the job and online to build your skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers efficiently and politely, addressing needs promptly.
• Assist with inquiries and transactions at the till and counter.
• Support Wild Bean Café food and drink preparation and service.
• Receive deliveries and manage stock replenishment.
• Help promote bp offers, promotions and loyalty schemes.
• Maintain store cleanliness and comply with bp safety policies.

What we are looking for

Individuals with a passion for customer service and who are energised by working together as a collaborative team within a fast-paced retail environment. We don't expect all who apply to have previous retail experience, as you will be provided with online and on the job training to support you to develop the skills and capabilities you will need to perform your role at bp.

What you will be responsible for

• Making sure that safety of yourself, your colleagues, and the customer, in line with bp policies and procedures, is your top priority
• Serving customers efficiently, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively
• Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, in line with bp beliefs
• Preparing and serving food and drink items from our Wild Bean Café
• Taking in deliveries, replenishing stock and stock management tasks
• Being proactive with supporting bp's offers, promotions and bp loyalty scheme
• Carrying out cleaning duties in all aspects of the store, facilities, and forecourt
