Job summary

bp retail is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will help customers, handle transactions, and assist with the daily running of the Wild Bean Café.

We provide online and on-the-job training to develop your skills, flexible hours, and a welfare-focused benefits package that includes discounts, pension, and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• On-the-job and online training provided to support development.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of yourself, colleagues and customers per bp policies.
• Serve customers promptly and effectively.
• Foster a positive, inclusive work environment aligned with bp beliefs.
• Prepare and serve food and drink items from our Wild Bean Café.
• Take deliveries, replenish stock and manage stock tasks.
• Support bp offers, promotions and bp loyalty schemes.
• Carry out cleaning duties in store, facilities and forecourt.

What we are looking for

Individuals with a passion for customer service and who are energised by working together as a collaborative team within a fast-paced retail environment. We don’t expect all who apply to have previous retail experience, as you will be provided with online and on the job training to support you to develop the skills and capabilities you will need to perform your role at bp.

What you will be responsible for

• Making sure that safety of yourself, your colleagues, and the customer, in line with bp policies and procedures, is your top priority
• Serving customers efficiently, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively
• Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, in line with bp beliefs
• Preparing and serving food and drink items from our Wild Bean Café
• Taking in deliveries, replenishing stock and stock management tasks
• Being proactive with supporting bp's offers, promotions and bp loyalty scheme
