Job summary

Certas Energy Ltd in Canal Head is hiring a Retail Customer Service Assistant for 16 hours per week at £13.45 per hour (Real Living Wage). You will be the face of the store, delivering friendly service and handling transactions at the till.

You’ll support day‑to‑day shop operations, stock replenishment and keep forecourt standards high, with training provided and opportunities to progress within our nationwide network.

• Retail experience is desirable but not essential (full training provided).

About the Role

As the face of our store, you’ll play a key role in delivering an excellent customer experience. You’ll support the day‑to‑day running of the site, ensuring everything operates smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Processing transactions accurately at the till
• Replenishing stock and maintaining store standards
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and company procedures
• Supporting the smooth operation of the forecourt and store
