Job summary

One Stop, a Tesco subsidiary, is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join a fast-paced retail team. You will engage with customers, stock shelves, process payments at the tills, and help maintain a welcoming store environment.

You will participate in on-your-feet coaching to improve service and contribute to a safe, compliant store that runs smoothly across all areas including online and stock routines.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to shoppers and respond to inquiries.
• Stock shelves and ensure products are tidy and well presented.
• Process payments accurately at the tills and complete transactions.
• Maintain the store’s appearance, keep aisles clear and safe.
• Clock in and out at the start and end of shifts to ensure accurate pay.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required safety equipment.
• Assist with post office operations if the store has a Post Office Local, including compliance with background checks.
